Chakra Clash

The 2nd coolest Hackathon project you've ever seen

Me during HogHacks 2025

Me competing at HogHacks '25 - Ignore the Monsters in the background ;)

Built for the University of Arkansas's annual HogHacks competition, Chakra Clash was an online Yoga competition that organized players into lobbies of 16 players who all compete to finish yoga poses the most accurate.

The app is powered using a Google Computer Vision model for classifing human joints, and a custom layer atop that which catagorizes the joints into yoga poses. The user's pose is compared to the 'ideal' pose, and is scored accordingly.

Furtheremore, to align with HogHacks 2025's theme "yin-yang," we added degrading voice-lines that critiqued every mistake, lost points, competition place lost, etc. to try and throw the user off their game. This was always forced on via a 15% volume lock, so no users could cheat out of the messages.

Overall, for 24 hours, 7 monsters, and a 1 hour power nap, I think we did pretty good by placing 4th and wining Best Implementation for the most implemented and thought-through idea. Next year, when we compete, I hope to place top 3 and take home some better prizes.
